Simple Past VS Past Perfect

Hello everyone,

This time I'm presenting you, guys, some sentences which I made up myself using Simple Past and Past Perfect Tenses.

Hope you like it!

1. Professor Atilano realized that he had forgotten to add Leonela to the group when she asked him about it. 

2. Fernando had already done his homework when Pablo offered him some help.

3. By the time the rooster crowed the sun had already risen.

4. I had finished lunch when my mother told me there were some avocados in the fridge.

5. I hadn't felt before such a sad feeling than that day when I saw her leave.

*Past perfect is marked in red.
