Unit 9

How good are you using your credit card?

After enjoying the benefits of using a credit card, it is common to miss the main objective. It is not you money. Remember that it is so important to take great advantage of the special promotions offered by your card, as well as keeping you abreast of the monthly payments.
A credit card is something people have, but still many people don’t know how to use it. It is important when people have economical problem, so they can solve it right away.

One of the main functions of a credit card is precisely to help the client to settle some purchases in fast and comfortable payments, when cash is not available to do so immediately. However, credit is an alternative payment that requires commitment and consistency, not to end up indebted for too long or else, paying more for what was "cheaper." The rule is always to pay as fast and as much as possible, that is, to avoid at all costs that interest and commissions are generated.

What type of user are you with your credit card?
Are you on the list of the inveterate indebted? Do you make your buying decisions as you go through the promotions in the mall? Do you know the unique advantages of your credit card? I invite you to discover how you actually use your card and know if the use you give is appropriate: be sincere!
How much does your monthly income last?
Do you spend all the money you receive in the month?

If you have negative answer to the questions above you should restart yourself with you monthly budget. Don’t spend all the money you have, once you have a budget stick to it no matter what. Unless of course it is an emergency. Try to save as much as you can, so that every month you can save more.

D.I.Y. CULTURE

D.I.Y. CULTURE

Do you usually get your hair cut professionally?, Do you have your clothes cleaned ?, or Do you have your friends do things for you ? If so, you are being part of a very popular practice nowadays.

It´s a fact that getting things done by someone else is a lot more comfortable and easier. there are inclusive people who avoid doing things like doing their own laundry or dishes.

In very developed countries, like the US, people prefer to do things themselves because they say it is cheaper and the final product is the satisfaction of learning to do something and saving some bucks.
In contrast, in the Dominican Republic, the practice of do it yourself, it is not very common for several reason. Perhaps, people don´t have the enough preparation to perform certain tasks or are afraid to do them in the wrong way.

Here are some tips if you plan to do things yourself:
1- If you plan to do something, try investigating first
Nowadays, there are several tutorials on the web with tons of instructions on how to do the same thing in different ways. It´s incredible the amount of things people upload.

2- If you ever fail doing it, do it as many times as possible
Failing is part of success, remember no one has been able to perform anything without failing a couple of times.
It´s is not about how many times you fail, it is about how many times you tried and overcame the situation until you reached success

Remember
Someone once asked Thomas Edison:
How did you feel after failing 1,0000 times trying to make a light bulb
Thing that Edison responded:

"I have not failed 1,000 times. I have
successfully discovered 1,000 ways to NOT make a light bulb."

The idea is that -- even if you try and fail, it doesn't mean that you
didn't learn something.

An amazing coincidence!

Have you ever dreamed of someone and then you meet the person? or Have you ever called someone by his or her name not being previously acquainted?
This is the story of how a two people met twice.

Pedro, the typical awkward college guy, usually dreams as everyone else on this planet. At least that is what he thought, Once he was dreaming he was visiting a place located in a distant community he had never visited before, and in that place he met someone called Soribel,

In his dream, She approached to him and as if they had met before and had such a long friend like conversation. For Pedro´s suprise, the next day, His friend Joelmir passed by, and pick him up at home to go to his grandparents house.

Things turned a little weird when his friend Joelmir, told him they were going for some beers at new place in his grandparents´s hometown, place Pedro had never been before.

Once there, they got to the place, and drank a couple of beers, the unthinkable happened.
Pedro astonished not for the couple of beers he had already drank but the beautiful figure that was coming closer and closer.
When he saw that familiar figure coming closer, just a word came out his mouth. The girl´s name. Soribel, he said in a very soft and particular way. She looked at him and asked him  where they had met before, question that Pedro answer with a smile and laughing gently saying ¨IN MY DREAMS¨.

After that day Pedro and Soribel have created some type of close and unique relationship, thanks to nothing more and nothing else than a dream. which they call a beautiful coincidence?
Today Pedro and Soribel are planning to get married

Pss. It´s a true story

Unit 6

Within less than a week of showing up for his last armed robbery, John Percival Matos appeared in Bonao. He and his crew were at one motel in Bonao after the robbery at the mall in Santo Domingo. This is one strange event because of the place where this crew was found.

Unit 6
There are many things I need to change in my house. First, the house needs to be painted. The painting is being off the wall. It has three years that way, so I thing is time to do something for it. Especially because of the child, he likes to play all around.
Other important things that needs to be changed at home is the Christmas tree. It has a very long time on that corner. It´s disgusting.

Finally, we need to get the money. I personally think that before all that money comes first.

An amazing coincidence

Some weeks ago I was at the university waiting for my professor. In the meantime, I was just talking on my phone and seeing people walking around me. To my surprise, when I turned around I saw my friend Cristy. Wow! That was fantastic. We were so happy indeed.

I met her in Boot Camp. It was nice to share with her and talk about things because  we hadn´t seen us in months. I already missed her.

Nice post as usual, very clean, no important important mistakes and the language is appropiately good, congratulations.
